Bob Cunningham

Bob Cunningham is inducted as a Builder and with the Cambridge Slees Fastball team who won 5 Ontario Provincial titles.

He started donating $2,000 to one of the 8 students who won the CSHF Scholarship in 2013.

That amount increased annually and with his passing in 2022 he bequeathed a lifetime endowment for the new Bob Cunningham CSHF Scholarship program. Now each year 2 of the 8 winning high school graduating students receive a $5,000 cheque.

Bob also received the Lifetime Achievement Award for the Cambridge Memorial Hospital.

Celebrating Bob Cunningham

Robert (Bob) L. Cunningham, a dedicated businessman and community volunteer, made a significant impact on Cambridge Memorial Hospital (CMH). His recent $2 million legacy gift is funding advanced medication management equipment for the Pharmacy Department and supporting the acquisition of a new MRI machine. This contribution elevates his total donations to over $3 million, marking the largest individual contribution in CMH’s history. In recognition, CMH has named its new Diagnostic Imaging Department in his honor.
